I'm Gino Lisondra, a foreign student studying at the International Christian University in Tokyo. I'm from Silliman University, an American-established University in the Philippines. My major is English Education, and I have two years experience in teaching English to Korean students who enroll in Silliman University's English Language Program as a conversation tutor.
I'm flexible and interested in a lot of things, so we can talk about anything under the sun while learning the English language. My teaching strategy operates using non-conventional, spontaneous, and free-thinking methods.

- Aside from my being a Bachelor in Secondary English Education student, I have also taught English to foreign nationals who study in Silliman University, especially to South Koreans who frequent Silliman during summer and take the Universityâs Special English Language Program. You see, I have been a member of Silliman Universityâs English and Literature Departmentâs Tutorial Pool for two years now.
- I have satisfactorily completed English Language courses/subjects, such as Intensive Composition in English, English Research Writing, Introduction to English Linguistics, and English Communicative Grammar and Discourse Analysis for Teachers, which I deem are relevant to my application; and, as an Education student, I am aware of the developmental tasks of language learning and acquisition generally undergone by second/foreign language learners. Furthermore, English is one of the primary languages spoken and written in the Philippines, more so, in an American-established institution like Silliman University. Nevertheless, my passion in talking with and helping second/foreign language learners learn English, is, I think, my most valuable asset as an applicant.
