I am a licensed teacher and have been teaching in the US and Japan for over five years. I graduated with a degree in teaching/education for students at all levels (elementary to high school,) and was granted a license by the Texas Board of Education in the United States in 2005.
I do try to make my lessons fun and engaging for students from all ablity levels. However, I do expect a lot from the students I teach. I do not accept the "I can't" mindset.
Other Qualifications:
- As I stated, I do have a teaching license from the United States which qualifies me to teach any age of students from preschool to high school. I have training with business ESL courses, travel survival courses, and general ESL teaching methodology.
Work Experience:
- One year teaching in the Texas Public School System in Houston, Texas.
- Four years working at Nova Language School.
- Four years teaching private and group ESL lessons.
